Rates for the Sale of Power and Energy
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
Decrease in rates for sale of firm power and related tariff changes applicable to governmental customers located in Westchester County.
Statutory authority:
Public Authorities Law, section 1005(6)
Subject:
Rates for the sale of power and energy.
Purpose:
To recover the Authority's cost of providing firm power and energy services.
Substance of proposed rule:
Pursuant to the New York Public Authorities Law, Section 1005, the Power Authority of the State of New York (the "Authority") proposes to revise the rates charged to its Westchester County Governmental Customers ("Westchester Customers") for Rate Year 2010.
The Authority proposes to decrease the base production rates by 14.17% compared to 2009 rates charged to the Westchester Customers.
