Notice of Abandoned Property Received by the State Comptroller
Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. A list of the names and last known addresses of the entitled owners of this abandoned property is maintained by the office in accordance with Section 1401 of the Abandoned Property Law. Town of Clifton Park
The Town of Clifton Park is requesting proposals from qualified administrative service agencies and/or financial organizations relating to administration trustee services and/or funding of a 457 deferred compensation plan for employees of the Town of Clifton Park meeting the requirements of Section 457 of the Internal Revenue Code and Section 5 of the State Finance Law, including all rules and regulations issued pursuant thereto.

Department of State F-2009-0578 (DA) Date of Issuance - August 19, 2009
The New York State Department of State (DOS) is required by Federal law to provide timely public notice for the activity described below, which is subject to the consistency provisions of the Federal Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, as amended.
The United States Department of the Interior, Army Corps of Engineers - New York District has determined that the proposed activity complies with and will be conducted in a manner consistent to the maximum extent practicable with the approved New York State Coastal Management Program. The consistency determination and accompanying public information and data is available for inspection at the New York State Department of State offices located at One Commerce Plaza, 99 Washington Avenue in Albany, New York.
In F-2009-0578 DA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New York District, is proposing to perform maintenance dredging of the existing federal navigation channel at East Rockaway Inlet, Far Rockaway, Borough of Queens, Queens County and Atlantic Beach, Town of Hempstead, Nassau County.
The proposal involves the following: maintenance dredging of the existing 250' wide X 12' deep X 1.4 mile long channel; maintenance dredging of the existing variable width of 150' to 270' wide X 12' deep X 1.4 mile long deposition basin directly parallel to the western boundary of the channel; new dredging of a second proposed 200' wide X12' deep X 0.4 mile long deposition directly parallel to the eastern boundary of the outer portion of the channel; and advanced maintenance dredging of 14' plus 2' allowable overdepth, as has been performed in the past, is proposed for this activity as well.
The proposal as described, will remove approximately 150,000 cubic yards of sand, to be placed along the Rockaway Beach shoreline as nourishment or used for environmental restoration within the Jamaica Bay complex. The channel was last dredged in 2009 with the removal of approximately 258,000 cubic yards of sand, which was used for beach nourishment along the Rockaway Beach Shoreline.
Any interested parties and/or agencies desiring to express their views concerning the above proposed activity may do so by filing their comments, in writing, no later than 4:30 p.m., 15 days from the date of publication of this notice, or September 3, 2009.
