PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve or reject, in whole or in part, a proposal filed by Oriskany Falls Telephone Corporation (Oriskany) and tw telecom of new york l.p.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 94(2)
Subject:
Interconnection of the networks between Oriskany and tw telecom of new york l.p. for local exchange service and exchange access.
Purpose:
To review the terms and conditions of the negotiated agreement between Oriskany and tw telecom of new york l.p.
Substance of proposed rule:
Oriskany Falls Telephone Corporation and tw telecom of new york l.p. have reached a negotiated agreement whereby Oriskany Falls Telephone Corporation and tw telecom of new york l.p. will interconnect their networks at mutually agreed upon points of interconnection to exchange local traffic.
