Lightened Regulation of Retail Steam Operations
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 6/18/09, the PSC adopted an order granting Georgia-Pacific Consumer Operations LLC, a certificate to provide retail steam service to Pactiv Corporation & Saranac Power Partners, L.P. and that the steam service will be subject to lightened regulation.

Subject:

Purpose:
To adopt the lightened regulation of retail steam operations.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on June 18, 2009, adopted an order granting Georgia-Pacific Consumer Operations LLC, a certificate to provide retail steam service to Pactiv Corporation and Saranac Power Partners, L.P. and that the steam service will be subject to lightened and incidental regulation, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
