Purpose:

The New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal ("DHCR") will hold two (2) public hearings to receive comments regarding DHCR's proposed amendment of its regulations concerning "State-Assisted Housing Constructed by Private Enterprise" at 9 NYCCR Parts 1700 - 1760 ("the Proposed Regulations"). The Proposed Regulations govern both limited-profit and limited-dividend housing companies organized under Article II and Article IV of the Private Housing Finance Law. Notice and a summary of the Proposed Regulations (D.O.S. Id. No.: HCR-15-09-00003-P) were published in the April 15th edition of the State Register.

Persons wishing to attend one of the hearings must register with DHCR at least twenty-four hours prior to the respective hearing date. While verbal statements will be accepted, DHCR requests that anyone wishing to comment at the hearing provide three (3) written copies of their statement, either at the hearing or by U.S. mail, postmarked no later than June 5, 2009. Oral testimony should be limited to ten (10) minutes.

The persons whose names and last known addresses are set forth below appear from records of the above named Retirement System to be entitled to accumulated contributions held by said retirement system whose membership terminated pursuant to Section 517-a of the Retirement and Social Security Law on or before June 30, 2007. To approve this LWRP, the Secretary of State must find that it is consistent with Article 42 of the Executive Law and that it does not conflict with existing state programs and policies.
