PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering a petition of Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation authorizing the issuance of long-term indebtedness, preferred stock and hybrid securities and to enter into derivative instruments.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 69
Subject:
Issuance of securities and to enter into derivative contracts.
Purpose:
To permit Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation to finance transactions for purposes authorized under PSL Section 69.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve or deny in whole or in part a petition of Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation authorizing the issuance of long-term indebtedness, preferred stock and hybrid securities and to enter into derivative instruments to manage interest rate risk.
