PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Repeal of Part 317 and addition of new Part 317 to Title 2 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Retirement and Social Security Law, sections 74 and 374
Subject:
Provides uniform rules and procedures to be followed for the scheduling of and conduct of certain retirement hearings.
Purpose:
To provide consistency and expediency in the conduct of hearings held to review applications for retirement allowances.
