Requirements for Earned Degrees, Honorary Associate Degrees and Registered Degrees
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of sections 3.47, 3.48 and 3.50 of Title 8 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Education Law, sections 207 (not subdivided), 210 (not subdivided), 214 (not subdivided), 215 (not subdivided), 218(1), 224(4), 305(1), (2) and 6306(5-b)
Subject:
Requirements for earned degrees, honorary associate degrees and registered degrees.
Purpose:
To authorize conferral of Master of Studies in Law degree and authorize community colleges to confer honorary associate degrees.
