PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The PSC is considering a Petition of the Town of Hardenburgh, New York, to waive 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 through 894.4 pertaining to the franchising process for the Town of Hardenburgh, New York.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 216(1)
Subject:
Waiver of 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 through 894.4.
Purpose:
To allow the Town of Hardenburgh to waive certain preliminary franchising procedures to expedite the franchising process.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve, modify or reject the Petition of Town of Hardenburgh to waive 16 NYCRR sections 894.1, 894.2, 894.3, and 894.4 regarding franchising procedures for the Town of Hardenburgh, Ulster County, New York.
