PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 11/12/08, the PSC adopted an order approving the petition of the New York Association of Public Power on behalf of 4 of its member municipal electric systems to recover the costs of an expanded energy efficiency program, with modifications.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 4(1) and 66(12)
Subject:
To recover the costs of an expanded energy efficiency program.
Purpose:
To recover the costs of an expanded energy efficiency program through the purchased power adjustment clauses with modifications.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on November 12, 2008, adopted an order approving the petition of the New York Association of Public Power on behalf of four of its member municipal electric systems – Freeport Electric (Village of Freeport), Jamestown Board of Public Utilities, Village of Rockville Centre, and Village of Sherburne, to recover the costs of an expanded energy efficiency program through their purchased power adjustment clauses with modifications, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
