STATE, LOCAL AND TRIBAL GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES

The purpose of this request for grant applications is to invite eligible public safety organizations to apply for grant funds under the federal Interoperable Emergency Communications Grant Program (IECGP). Grants will be awarded to carry out initiatives to improve interoperable emergency communications, including communications in collective response to natural disasters, acts of terrorism and other man-made disasters.

ELIGIBLE RECIPIENTS: Applications will be accepted from state, local and tribal governmental entities.

Applications will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. on December 18, 2008 through the State’s Electronic Grants Management System (E-Grants).
