Notice of Abandoned Property Received by the State Comptroller
Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. A list of the names and last known addresses of the entitled owners of this abandoned property is maintained by the office in accordance with Section 1401 of the Abandoned Property Law. The Inc. Village of Garden City, NY is soliciting proposals from administrative service agencies relating to trust service, administration and/or funding of a Deferred Compensation Plan for the employees of the village. They must meet the requirements of section 457 of the Internal Revenue Code and Section 5 of the State Finance Law, including all rules and regulations issued pursuant thereto.

I, David A. Paterson, Governor of the State of New York, do hereby certify my adoption and promulgation of the following regulation which has been recommended by the Municipal Police Training Council pursuant to the provisions of § 840 of the Executive Law. This action is taken pursuant to the authority vested in me by § 842 of such law and, as such, it is exempted from the rule-making provisions of the State Administrative Procedure Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it known that the attached amendment to § 6020.3 of Title 9 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York, omitting matter in brackets and adding underscored matter, is hereby adopted and promulgated and shall become effective upon publication in the State Register.
Subdivision (a) of section 6020.3 of 9 NYCRR is amended to read as follows:
(a) No basic course shall be approved by the commissioner that does not follow a curriculum of at least [475] 477 hours and a supervised field training and orientation program of at least 160 hours.

I, David A. Paterson, Governor of the State of New York, do hereby certify my adoption and promulgation of the following regulation which has been recommended by the Municipal Police Training Council pursuant to the provisions of § 840 of the Executive Law. This action is taken pursuant to the authority vested in me by § 842 of such law and, as such, it is exempted from the rule-making provisions of the State Administrative Procedure Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it known that the attached amendments to §§ 6026.7 and 6026.8 of Title 9 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York are hereby adopted and promulgated and shall become effective upon publication in the State Register.
1. Existing subdivisions (b) and (c) of section 6026.7 of Title 9 NYCRR are relettered as subdivisions (c) and (d) respectively, and a new subdivision (b) is added to read as follows:
(b) Within ten days of the commencement of a pre-employment police basic training program, the course director shall forward a course roster to the commissioner, on a form prescribed by the commissioner, listing the names and other information contained in the form and required by the council for all attendees.
2. Existing subdivisions (e) through (i) of section 6026.8 of Title 9 NYCRR are relettered as subdivisions (f) through (j) respectively, and a new subdivision (e) is added to read as follows:
(e) Within 10 days after conclusion of a basic course, the director shall forward the course roster to the commissioner denoting the performance of respective trainees.

This action is taken pursuant to the authority vested in me by said § 846-h(1)(c) of the Executive Law and, as such, it is exempted from the rule-making provisions of the State Administrative Procedure Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it known that the attached amendment to § 6035.1(a) of Title 9 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York, omitting matter in brackets and adding underscored matter, is hereby adopted and promulgated and shall become effective upon publication in the State Register.
Subdivision (a) of section 6035.1 of 9 NYCRR is amended to read as follows:
(a) The term law enforcement agency shall mean any law enforcement agency or department of any municipality, any police district, or any agency, department, commission, authority or public benefit corporation of the state of New York employing a police officer or police officers as that term is defined in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (j), (k), (1), (o), [and] (p) and (s) of subdivision thirty-four of section 1.20 of the Criminal Procedure Law.
