Notice of Abandoned Property Received by the State Comptroller
Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. A list of the names and last known addresses of the entitled owners of this abandoned property is maintained by the office in accordance with Section 1401 of the Abandoned Property Law. Education Department
The New York State Education Department is required by State regulation to provide timely public notice of Regents Accreditation of Teacher Education (RATE) site visits for the purpose of reviewing and approving teacher education programs for those institutions designating the Regents as their accreditor for teacher education purposes. RATE focused site visits will be conducted at the College of New Rochelle-Main Campus and Wells College during early Spring 2008.
Any person wishing to make comments on the review of the programs including their qualifications for accreditation may do so in writing. Comments will be accepted until February 22, 2008. Any comments should be addressed to Barbara D. National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws Model State Administrative Procedure Act Revision Process—Invitation to Participate
The National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (NCCUSL) is revising its Model State Administrative Procedure Act (MSAPA). NCCUSL invites organizations and individuals interested in state administrative agency processes to participate in this effort.
NCCUSL is a 117 year old national organization of lawyers, judges and law professors who are appointed to represent their states in drafting and seeking enactment of uniform laws to facilitate commerce and certainty in the law among the states. The goal of the MSAPA drafting committee is to make the administrative process more efficient, accessible and fair. The most recent draft of MSAPA is available at http://www.nccusl.org/Update/CommitteeSearchResults.aspx?committee=234. The drafting process will not be completed until the spring of 2009. The MSAPA drafting committee invites interested parties to attend committee meetings as an observer and make comments and suggestions at the meetings or by submitting them in writing. Pursuant to 19 NYCRR 1205, the petitions below have been received by the Department of State for action by the Uniform Code Regional Boards of Review. The building is classified as an I-2 Hospital occupancy, one story in height, of Type 2B construction, approximately 3,167 square feet in gross area, and is located at 653 Park Avenue, City of Rochester, County of Monroe, State of New York.
2008-0044 Matter of Trump On the Beach at Jones Beach State Park, Wantagh, NY 11793 for a variance concerning structural requirements, including the need for a building located within a Special Flood Hazard Area to have occupied space and building mechanical equipment elevated above the 100-year design flood elevation; the need to provide certifications that the design of such a building is in conformance with ASCE24; and to allow a means of egress through an opening with a horizontal flood proof door.
Involved is a new restaurant, located at Jones Beach State Park, Town of Hempstead, County of Nassau, State of New York.
