Pursuant to Section 120-w of the New York General Municipal Law, the Town of North Hempstead Solid Waste Management Authority (the “Authority”) hereby gives notice of the following:

The Authority has published a Request for Proposals for the Management and Maintenance of the Landfill Gas Collection System and Control Systems at the Authority’s Port Washington Landfills (L-4 and L-5), 802 West Shore Road, Port Washington, New York. A copy of the Request for Proposals is on file with the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of North Hempstead, 200 Plandome Road, Manhasset, New York, and the Port Washington Public Library, One Library Drive, Port Washington, New York 11050. A copy of the Request for Proposals can be obtained at those locations during regular business hours. In addition, the Request for Proposals is posted on the website of the Town of North Hempstead at www.northhempsteadny.gov where it can be downloaded at any time. The deadline for submitting questions in relation to the RFP is 5:00pm on February 15, 2017.
