Issuance of and Sale of Preferred Stock, Bonds and Other Forms of Indebtedness by Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed action:
The commission is considering whether to approve or deny in whole or in part, a petition of Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation authorizing the issuance of long-term indebtedness, preferred stock and hybrid securities, to enter into and borrow under revolving credit facilities and to enter into derivative instruments to manage interest rate risk and other financial exposure.

Public Service Law, section 69
Subject:
Issuance of and sale of preferred stock, bonds and other forms of indebtedness.
Purpose:
To permit Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation to finance transactions for purposes authorized under Public Service Law, section 69.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering whether to approve or deny in whole or in part a petition of Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation authorizing the issuance of long-term indebtedness, preferred stock and hybrid securities, to enter into and borrow under revolving credit facilities and to enter into derivative instruments to manage interest rate risk and other financial exposure.
