PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed action:
The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve or reject, in whole or in part, a proposal filed by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation (Central Hudson) to make various changes in the rates, charges, rules and regulations contained in its schedule for gas service—P.S.C. No. 12 to become effective Jan. 1, 2008.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 66(12)
Subject:
Service Classification No. 16—distributed generation residential.
Purpose:
To revise Central Hudson's residential distributed generation rates.
Substance of proposed rule:
On September 20, 2007, Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation (Central Hudson) filed a proposed tariff amendment to revise its residential distributed generation rates. The revised rates are filed pursuant to Commission order issued and effective August 4, 2004 in Case 02-M-0515 and have a proposed effective date of January 1, 2008. The Commission may approve, reject or modify, in whole or in part, Central Hudson's proposed tariff revision.
