PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 8/14/14, the PSC approved a petition by Greentree Water Company, Inc. (Greentree) to institute a surcharge to recover costs incurred as a result of well equipment replacement and repairs.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 89-c(1) and (10)
Subject:
Authorizing Greentree to institute a surcharge for costs incurred to make emergency capital repairs.
Purpose:
To authorize Greentree to institute a surcharge for costs incurred to make emergency capital repairs.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on August 14, 2014, adopted an order authorizing Greentree Water Company, Inc. to institute a surcharge to recover costs for emergency expenses for the replacement of a deep well pump and to the repair of the system’s second well pit, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
