PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed action:
Amendment of Appendix(es) 1 of Title 4 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Civil Service Law, section 6(1)
Subject:
Jurisdictional classification.
Purpose:
To classify positions in the exempt class in the Department of Mental Hygiene.
Text of proposed rule:
Amend Appendix(es) 1 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the exempt class, in the Department of Mental Hygiene under the subheading “Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services,” by adding thereto the position of Assistant Public Information Officer and by increasing the number of positions of Special Assistant from 4 to 7.
