Non-Residential Distributed Generation Firm Sales Service by Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed action:
The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve or reject, in whole or in part, a proposal filed by Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation (RG&E) to make various changes in the rates, charges, rules and regulations contained in its schedule for gas service, P.S.C. No. 16—Gas, to become effective July 1, 2007.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 66(12)
Subject:
Service Classification No. 6—non-residential distributed generation firm sales services and Service Classification No. 7—firm gas transportation service for distributed generation facilities less than 50 MW.
Purpose:
To file updated distributed generation rates for commercial and industrial customers.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation's (RG&E) request to revise its gas tariff, P.S.C. No. 16—Gas, to update its distributed generation rates for its S.C. No. 6—Non-Residential Distributed Generation Firm Gas Sales Service and S.C. No. 7—Firm Gas Transportation Service for Distributed Generation Facilities. The filing is being made in compliance with the Commission's April 24, 2003 order in Case 02-M-0515. The Commission may approve, reject or modify, in whole or in part, RG&E's request.
