PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of section 432.2 of Title 18 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Social Services Law, sections 20(3)(d), 34(3)(f) and 421(3)
Subject:
Child protective investigations.
Purpose:
To clarify the procedures for cases where a child or home cannot be accessed by child protective service staff to conduct a safety assessment and to clarify the possible collateral contacts who may provide information relevant to a child protective investigation.
