Minor Rate Filing for Rate Increase and New Tariff
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 1/16/20, the PSC adopted an order authorizing River Road Water District (River Road) to increase its semi-annual flat rate by 22% and approved a new electronic tariff schedule, P.S.C. No. 2 – Water, effective February 1, 2020.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(1)(f), 89-c(1), (3), (10)(a), (b) and (f)
Subject:
Minor rate filing for rate increase and new tariff.
Purpose:
To authorize River Road for a rate increase and approve a new electronic tariff.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on January 16, 2020, adopted an order authorizing River Road Water District (River Road) to increase its semi-annual flat rate by 22%, from $75.00 to $91.25, to reflect the current minimum cost of service and approved a new electronic tariff schedule, P.S.C. No. 2 – Water, effective February 1, 2020. River Road is directed to file, on not less than five days’ notice to become effective February 1, 2020, a cancellation supplement, cancelling its paper tariff P.S.C. No. 1 – Water in its entirety, statements, and supplements, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
