Allow Verizon to Eliminate the Requirement for Quarterly Updates to the UCRCC
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 11/14/13, the PSC adopted an order approving a petition filed by Verizon New York Inc. (Verizon) to change the procedure used to establish the Unbundled CLEC Reciprocal Compensation Charge (UCRCC).
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 92(2)
Subject:
Allow Verizon to eliminate the requirement for quarterly updates to the UCRCC.
Purpose:
To allow Verizon to eliminate the requirement for quarterly updates to the UCRCC.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on November 14, 2013, adopted an order approving the petition of Verizon New York Inc. (Verizon) to set the per minute-of-use Unbundled CLEC Reciprocal Compensation Charge, or Unbundled TC Reciprocal Compensation Charge, as follows: October 31, 2013 through June 30, 2014 - $0.0012569; July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 - $0.0012359; July 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015 - $0.0012150.
In addition, Verizon is authorized to discontinue the quarterly reporting and updating of the per minute-of-use Unbundled CLEC Reciprocal Compensation Charge, or Unbundled TC Reciprocal Compensation Charge, and the associated rate and traffic count in its PSC No. 10 Network Elements tariff, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
