Pursuant to New York State General Municipal Law, Section 120-w, the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority hereby gives notice of the following:

Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority (Authority) is requesting proposals from companies that are interested in developing a facility at the Authority’s Regional Landfill site, NYS Route 294, Ava, NY that will utilize approximately 2,075,000 BTUs per hour of excess heat. The excess heat is generated by the Landfill Gas to Energy Facility.

The Authority does not discriminate because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability or marital status. All qualified respondents will be afforded equal opportunities without discrimination. Furthermore, the Authority invites certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) participation in this RFP.
