WPIC 49C.04 Special Verdict Form—Failure to Register as Sex Offender—Class C Felony

(This special verdict is to be answered only if the jury finds the defendant guilty of failure to register.)

NOTE ON USE

Use this instruction when the defendant is charged with Class C felony failure to register as a sex offender and the charging document alleges that the defendant has previously been convicted of felony failure to register as a sex offender. Use this instruction with WPIC 49C.02 (Failure to Register as Sex or Kidnapping Offender—Elements).

Use bracketed material as applicable.

If there is a stipulation between the parties regarding an element of the offense, particular care must be taken to modify this instruction, if necessary, to reflect the terms of the stipulation.
