WPIC 36.51.03 Violation of a Court Order (RCW Chapters 9A.46 and 10.14)—Gross Misdemeanor—Definition
A person commits the crime of violation of a court order when he or she knows of the existence of a court order and willfully [violates] [disobeys] such order.

Only use this instruction for violations of court orders issued pursuant to RCW Chapters 10.14 and 9A.46. Do not use this instruction for crimes covered by RCW 26.50.110. See WPIC 36.50 (Violation of a Court Order (26.50.110)—Gross Misdemeanor—Definition). Use this instruction if it will help the jury understand the charged offense or if it is necessary to define this particular offense for the jury. See the Comment to WPIC 4.24 (Definition of the Crime—Form). Use WPIC 10.02 (Knowledge—Knowingly—Definition) and WPIC 10.05 (Willfully—Definition) with this instruction.
