WPIC CHAPTER 133. Weapon Offenses
WPIC 133.03 Carrying a Pistol—Definition
[A person commits the crime of carrying a pistol when [he] [she] carries a pistol concealed on [his] [her] person without a license to carry a concealed pistol, except in the person's place of abode or fixed place of business.]
[A person commits the crime of carrying or placing a loaded pistol in a vehicle when [he] [she] carries or places a loaded pistol in a vehicle, unless the person has a license to carry a concealed pistol and [the pistol is on the licensee's person] [or] [the licensee is within the vehicle at all times that the pistol is there] [or] [the licensee is away from the vehicle and the pistol is locked within the vehicle and concealed from view from outside the vehicle].]
[A person commits the crime of leaving an unloaded pistol in a vehicle when [he] [she] is at least eighteen years of age and is in possession of an unloaded pistol and leaves the unloaded pistol in a vehicle, unless the unloaded pistol is locked within the vehicle and concealed from view from outside the vehicle.]
