WPIC CHAPTER 120. Obstructing Governmental Operation
WPIC 120.35 Escape—Third Degree—Definition
A person commits the crime of escape in the third degree when he or she
[[knowingly] escapes from custody] [or]
[knowingly violates the terms of an electronic monitoring program].

COMMENT
RCW 9A.76.130. Effective July 24, 2015, the Legislature amended the definition of third degree escape to add violating the terms of an electronic monitoring program. Laws of 2015, Chapter 287, § 11 (effective July 24, 2015).
