WPIC 35.40 Custodial Assault—Juvenile or Adult Corrections Institution—Juvenile or Adult Detention Facility—Definition
A person commits the crime of custodial assault when he or she assaults [a staff member or a volunteer] [or] [educational personnel] [or] [a personal service provider] [or] [a vendor] [or] [an agent of a vendor] at a[n] [adult] [or] [juvenile] [corrections institution] [or] [local detention facility] who was performing official duties at the time of the assault.
