WPI 140.03 Sidewalks, Streets, Bridges, and Roads—Travelers
A person using a public [road] [street] [bridge] [sidewalk] has a right to proceed upon the [road] [street] [bridge] [sidewalk] with the assumption that it is safe for travel until he or she knows, or in the exercise of ordinary care should know, to the contrary.
