NOTE ON USE
A separate verdict form should be used for each parcel of property. Fill in the names of petitioner and respondent, and a reference to the property and/or property rights, if applicable, before the verdict form is submitted to the jury.
Use this verdict form when a lump sum verdict is to be returned for all interests. When findings for special interests or benefits are required, appropriate verdict or interrogatory forms must be drafted. See discussion of separate interests in the Comment to WPI 150.05 (Measure of Compensation—Total Taking).
In an inverse condemnation case involving an issue of liability as well as damages, use the appropriate verdict form from WPI Chapter 45 (Forms of Verdicts).
