§ 1305. Appointment of first deputies
The recorder of deeds shall appoint one first deputy to act in the case of the death or resignation of the first deputy's principal, or when the office shall become vacant from other causes. The register of wills shall appoint a deputy or deputies with powers and duties as provided in 20 Pa.C.S. Ch. 9 (relating to register of wills).
