§ 217. Control of pest
The fungous disease commonly known as the white pine blister rust, caused by the organism Cronartium ribicola Fischer, is hereby declared to be a dangerous forest pest in all its stages, and it shall be the duty of the Department of Forests and Waters to enforce the measures hereinafter specified for the control of this pest.
