§ 5833. Extension of time for making returns and exonerations
The returns for the collection of taxes on unseated lands, and for exonerations required to be made in pursuance of the several provisions of an act of assembly, approved the twenty-first day of April, 1856, entitled “An act relative to the sale of lands for the nonpayment of taxes,”1 shall be good and valid if made on or before the first day of February in each and every year, instead of the first day of January, as required by that act. * * *
