§ 1712. Failure of sheriff receiver, etc., to make report of judicial sales or auction sales
Any sheriff, receiver, trustee, assignee, master, or other officer, who shall neglect or refuse to comply with the provisions of section one thousand four hundred two of this act,1 or any person, partnership, joint-stock association, company, or corporation, who or which shall neglect or refuse to comply with the provisions of paragraph (b) of section one thousand four hundred three of this act,2 shall forfeit and pay to the Commonwealth, for every such offense, neglect, or refusal, a fine or penalty of two hundred dollars, to be recovered by suit in assumpsit.
