§ 1406. Oaths of directors or trustees
(a) Each director or trustee shall before assuming office take an oath or affirmation that he will diligently and honestly perform his duties in the administration of the affairs of the institution, that he will not permit a wilful violation of law by the institution and that he meets the eligibility requirements of this act and of the articles and by-laws.
(b) The oath or affirmation shall be signed by the director or trustee and immediately sent to the department for filing.
