§ 307. Investment securities (other than stock)
An institution may purchase, sell, underwrite and hold investment securities which are obligations in the form of bonds, notes or debentures to the extent permitted by Federal law, subject to the restrictions and limitations imposed by Federal law and subject to such additional restrictions and limitations as may be imposed by regulation of the department. An institution may also hold without limit such investment securities which as loans would be within the coverage of subsection 306(c)(vii)(B).1
