§ 10210.502. Reports to department and coroner or medical examiner
(1) Within 48 hours of receipt of a written report under section 501(a)1 involving sexual abuse, serious injury, serious bodily injury or suspicious death, the agency shall transmit a written report to the department. Supplemental reports shall be transmitted as they are obtained by the agency.
(b) Coroner or medical examiner.--For a report under section 501(a) concerning the death of a recipient, if there is reasonable cause to suspect that the recipient died as a result of abuse or neglect, the agency shall give the oral report and forward a copy of the written report to the appropriate coroner or medical examiner within 24 hours.
