§ 52. Refusal to take oath forfeits license
In case any pilot licensed under the provisions of the act to which this is a supplement,1 and the supplements thereto, shall neglect or refuse to take and subscribe the oath or affirmation herein provided, after notice having been given by the master warden,2 it shall be the duty of the master warden to withdraw and cancel the license of such pilot; and it shall not be lawful for any pilot so refusing or neglecting to take and subscribe the oath or affirmation aforesaid, to perform the duties of a pilot in the bay or river Delaware.
