§ 1607.1. Civil remedy
In addition to the authority of the Attorney General under Article XI of the act of May 17, 1921 (P.L. 789, No. 285),1 known as The Insurance Department Act of 1921, and 18 Pa.C.S. § 4117 (relating to insurance fraud), if the Attorney General finds that there has been a violation of this act, the Attorney General may bring an action to impose a civil penalty and to seek other relief, including injunctive relief, under the act of December 17, 1968 (P.L. 1224, No. 387),2 known as the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law.
