§ 5742. Licensure required
No person shall engage in, or continue to engage in, the business of a bail bondsman unless the person has been licensed by the department as an insurance producer under Article VI-A of the act of May 17, 1921 (P.L. 789, No. 285),1 known as The Insurance Department Act of 1921, and possesses a casualty line of authority.
