§ 400.5105. Power and authority of the Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority
In addition to the powers set forth in section 6.3 of the act of August 23, 1967 (P.L. 251, No. 102),1 known as the Economic Development Financing Law, the Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority established under that act shall have the power and is hereby authorized to issue its limited obligation revenue bonds and other types of financing, as in the judgment of the financing authority shall be necessary, to provide sufficient funds for any activity the department or the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority is permitted to take with respect to the loan portfolios subject to their respective administrative authority. Bonds authorized to be issued under this section shall not be a debt or liability of the Commonwealth and shall not create or constitute any indebtedness, liability or obligation of the Commonwealth except to the extent the bonds are secured by the pledge of loan portfolios. Bonds authorized to be issued under this section shall be payable solely from the revenues or funds pledged or available for their repayment.
