§ 500-406. Confession of judgment; execution
A home improvement installment contract or a note given in connection therewith may contain a power of attorney to confess judgment which, for more abundant security, may be exercised by the holder before default; but any person who shall cause a writ of execution to be issued on such judgment before a default on such contract shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) or suffer imprisonment not to exceed six months, or both.
