Housing authorities created under the “Housing Authorities Law,” the act of May twenty-eight, one thousand nine hundred thirty-seven (Pamphlet Laws 955),¹ as now or hereafter amended, and limited dividend housing companies created under the “Limited Dividend Housing Company Law,” the act of May eighteen, one thousand nine hundred thirty-seven (Pamphlet Laws 704),² as now or hereafter amended, shall, in addition to the powers conferred upon them by those acts respectively, have the right to contract for, erect and maintain projects under this act.
