§ 7929. Agricultural extension work
The board of county commissioners of each county are hereby authorized to appropriate from the fund of the county a sum, not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) annually, for agricultural extension work, in cooperation with the Pennsylvania State College, in encouraging improved methods of farm management and home economics and giving practical instruction and demonstrations in agriculture, for the purpose of improving and developing the agricultural resources of the county.
