§ 9755. Recording of letters of attorney
All letters of attorney authorizing contracts to be made, the sale and transfer of stocks, bonds, mortgages and any other personal property of any kind or description, the receipts of money, the discharge and acquittance of legacies or distributive shares, or the performance of any act or acts which the party constituting such attorney might lawfully have done, may, when acknowledged before the officers appointed to take acknowledgments of deeds for conveyance of real estate, be recorded in the office of the recorder of deeds in the county where the powers conferred by such letters are intended to be exercised; and the exemplification of the record thereof shall be received in evidence in the Courts of this Commonwealth.
