§ 6021.2101. Start-up costs
The Governor is hereby authorized to transfer $2,500,000, or as much thereof as may be necessary, from the Hazardous Sites Cleanup Fund created by section 602.3 of the act of March 4, 1971 (P.L. 6, No. 2),1 known as the Tax Reform Code of 1971, to the Storage Tank Fund to begin development and operation of the Aboveground and Underground Storage Tank Programs and to the Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund to be used for the initial administrative expenses of the Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Board. All transferred funds from the Hazardous Sites Cleanup Fund shall be repaid to that fund from funds in the Storage Tank Fund or the Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund within two years of the transfer. Such transfers shall be made hereunder upon warrant of the State Treasurer upon requisition by the Governor.
