§ 217.26. Violation of act; penalties
Any person, partnership, agency, firm or corporation violating the provisions of sections 2, 3 or 4 of this act1 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than two thousand dollars ($2,000) or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years, or both, at the discretion of the court. Any person, partnership, agency, firm or corporation violating section 5 of this act2 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) or imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year, at the discretion of the court.
