§ 5-505. Establishment and maintenance of consolidated schools
The board of directors of any school district may establish, equip, furnish, and maintain consolidated schools formed by uniting two or more public schools, which prior to such union were maintained in separate buildings, and after such union are maintained in one school organization taught by two or more teachers. The board of school directors may transport pupils to and from such schools as provided for by this act.
