§ 1780. Majority of trustees requisite to pass motions
So much of the sixth section of the act to which this is a supplement,1 as provides that it shall require a three-fourths vote of all the trustees present at any meeting of the board to pass any motion or resolution on which the yeas and nays and called, be and the same is hereby repealed, except so far as relates to any motion or resolution for the sale of real estate belonging to the corporation, or for the purchase of real estate by the corporation, or for creating any lien on said real estate by payment or mortgage, or for the expenditure of moneys appropriated by the state where such expenditure is not specifically designated by law, or for the surrender of the franchises of the corporation: Provided, That at any such meeting a majority of the whole board of trustees be present.
