§ 6718. Reestablishment of board
This act, with respect to the State Board of Private Academic Schools, constitutes the legislation required to reestablish an agency under the act of December 22, 1981 (P.L. 508, No. 142), known as the Sunset Act.1

The Sunset Act, 71 P.S. § 1795.1 et seq., was declared unconstitutional in its entirety in West Shore School Dist. v. Pennsylvania Labor Relations Bd., 534 Pa. 164, 626 A.2d 1131 (1993). The unconstitutionality of the Sunset Act makes any limitation on an agency's existence pursuant to that act void. Id.; Com. ex. rel. Nicholas v. Pennsylvania Labor Relations Bd., 156 Pa.Cmwlth. 498, 628 A.2d 485 (1993).
